Emanuel & Greta — Full Tilt from Positano

I met Emanuel and Greta in their disarming simplicity, but from the very first call I already knew. I knew how I wanted to tell their story, how I would edit it, what I could do with it. It doesn’t happen often to feel this narrative clarity from the beginning. With them, it was exactly like that.

Positano and the Coast: when landscape becomes character

Amalfi and Positano aren’t simply locations: they’re characters in the story. We shot the pre-wedding among the most extraordinary spaces of the cliff: that stretch of landscape that takes your breath away, the terraces overlooking the sea, and that spot in Positano so instagrammable it became the visual core of the entire project.

But it’s not a generic Instagram location. It’s Positano with Emanuel and Greta, with their complicity, their lightness. And then there’s her, an old Alfa Romeo descending the curves of the coast. It became the cherry on top of the final film.

Those frames of the car, the road, the landscape behind them, they’re what drove me to edit the film not in chronological order, but according to a narrative logic that could let the story breathe.

Torre La Cerniola: when a place welcomes you

The wedding took place at Torre La Cerniola, a breathtaking location that I know very well. I could work at ease, with confidence in those who organize, knowing that every detail would be cared for. This space, with its geometry, its light, its tranquility, became the perfect stage for what Emanuel and Greta wanted to tell.

The vows: the heart of the story

The groom’s vows are the moment everything stops. Sincere words, direct, that tell who Emanuel is and what Greta means to him. There’s no filter, no distance: just him, his words, and the awareness that this moment changes everything.

The bride’s vows arrive with the same force, the same sincerity. It’s the moment the film finds its emotional center: two people saying yes to each other, without artifice, surrounded by the beauty of the coast but completely focused on one another.

Elegant chaos and the magic of a perfect evening

The evening was dancing, movement, elegant chaos—the kind of celebration where every moment is spontaneous yet also deeply conscious. Emanuel and Greta danced, their guests danced, the Amalfi coast stood silent in the background of all this joy.

Sound as narrative

What holds this film together is its soundscape. It’s not music layered on top. It’s the authentic sounds of the day: boats passing, the noise of the Alfa Romeo on the curves, the water, footsteps on the sand, voices during the vows. Every sonic element tells something about Emanuel and Greta, their story, the place where they chose to commit to each other.
