It rarely happens that I choose to pose a couple. My language is spontaneity, pure reportage. Yet with Giulia and Rostic, we decided to try a more editorial style. And they were simply perfect.

La Librata, in Terracina, is one of the most beautiful locations I know. There’s something rare about this place: a completely white, minimalist space that doesn’t need anything to be luxurious. It transmits a sense of discreet, refined luxury. It’s a location that speaks for itself.
I have an excellent relationship with La Librata, and it shows. Every detail was cared for, every space was available to tell the story. The landscape around (the Mediterranean, the natural light of the Latium coast) completes the atmosphere of sober elegance that characterizes this place.
From silence to vows, to the promise of new life
The film begins in silence—only the sounds of the landscape. The waves, the gentle breeze, the breath of the place. It’s here we feel Giulia: radiant in her preparations, conscious of what’s about to happen. Minute details captured with an aesthetic cleanliness that reflects the style of this couple.
Then, when Giulia and Rostic speak their vows, the emotional richness is palpable. There’s no emphasis, there’s simply the truth of two people choosing each other.
